HLA Attachments BRB96BO500 96-Inch Hydraulic Rotary Pick-up Broom is a heavy-duty collection broom designed for efficient cleanup of parking lots, construction sites, streets, curbs, gutters, parks, and recreation areas. Its 96-inch working width covers substantial ground, while the 21.9-cubic-foot bucket collects swept material for convenient removal. A direct hydraulic motor drive powers the 26-inch-diameter poly/steel bristle wafers, and standard reversible broom rotation allows the operator to sweep away from doors and similar areas when required.

Efficient Sweeping and Material Collection

The BRB96BO500 combines rotary sweeping action with an integrated collection bucket, helping gather dirt and debris rather than simply moving it to the side. Its wide cleaning path makes it well suited to maintaining larger paved or hard-surface areas. The fixed front gauge wheel supports consistent broom positioning during operation.

For demanding cleanup work, the bucket is equipped with a replaceable hardened 3/4 x 6-inch double-bevel cutting edge. This serviceable edge provides a durable contact point and can be replaced when worn. The broom comes with hydraulic hoses and flat-faced couplers, providing the necessary hydraulic connections for compatible equipment.

Direct Hydraulic Drive and Reversible Rotation

A direct hydraulic motor drive delivers power to the broom without a PTO. The attachment requires hydraulic oil flow of 12–20 GPM at a pressure of 1,500–3,000 PSI. Operators should confirm that their carrier can supply hydraulic flow and pressure within these ranges before use.

Reversible rotation is standard. This feature gives the operator additional control over the direction of sweeping and is particularly useful when debris needs to be swept away from doors, entrances, walls, or similar areas.

Compatibility

The HLA Attachments BRB96BO500 is supplied with a standard skid-steer mounting configuration. For mounting configurations other than standard skid steer, the BOQBK mount option is required. Verify the mounting configuration, hydraulic capacity, and operating suitability of the carrier before ordering or attaching the broom.

Hydraulic Requirements

This broom requires a hydraulic system capable of delivering 12–20 GPM at 1,500–3,000 PSI. Hydraulic hoses and flat-faced couplers are included. The attachment uses a hydraulic direct-drive system and does not have a listed PTO requirement.

Optional Equipment

All-poly bristle wafers are available as an alternative to the standard poly/steel configuration. An optional dust-suppression water kit is also available for applications where airborne dust needs to be controlled. The kit includes a 25-gallon water tank and spray nozzle.
