HLA Attachments SS96BO500 96-Inch Hydraulic Side-Discharge Sawdust/Material Bucket combines a 2.5 cu yd heaped capacity with a chevron discharge belt and bidirectional material delivery. Designed to scoop and load like a conventional bucket, it allows the operator to collect material and hydraulically discharge it from either the left or right side of the machine. The direct-coupled hydraulic drive, dual discharge-belt motors, and material beater provide a practical solution for controlled side discharge without requiring a separate PTO-driven implement. This configuration includes the BO500 universal skid-steer-style loader mount and requires a minimum auxiliary hydraulic flow of 12 GPM.

Efficient Bidirectional Discharge

The SS96BO500 is equipped with a chevron belt that moves material to either side of the carrier machine. Left- or right-side discharge gives the operator flexibility to place material according to the work area and direction of travel. Two hydraulic motors power the discharge belt, while the direct-coupled hydraulic drive provides a straightforward connection to a compatible machine’s auxiliary hydraulic system.

A built-in beater helps prevent material from bridging inside the bucket. This supports more consistent movement of material toward the belt during discharge. With an inside width of 96 inches and a heaped capacity of 2.5 cubic yards, the bucket is sized for handling substantial loads while retaining conventional scoop-and-load functionality.

Designed to Load Like a Regular Bucket

In addition to its hydraulic side-discharge system, the HLA SS96BO500 is designed to scoop and load like a regular bucket. This allows the same attachment to collect, carry, and distribute material. The bucket measures approximately 98.5 inches across its overall width, with outside dimensions of 44 inches high by 57 inches long.

The bolted quick-attach adaptation uses HLA’s BO500 universal skid-steer-style loader mount. This configuration is intended for skid-steer loaders and other suitable machines equipped with a universal skid-steer-style quick-attach interface, provided that the machine also meets the attachment’s hydraulic requirements.
