Precision Grading in Either Direction

The SLG84 has a nominal working width of 84 inches and uses a push-pull configuration that permits grading in both directions. This bidirectional capability can reduce unnecessary repositioning by allowing material to be worked during forward and reverse passes. Reversible cutting edges provide two usable orientations and support ongoing grader maintenance.

Cross-slope adjustment is powered by two 2-1/2 inch by 6 inch hydraulic cylinders. The pneumatic swivel wheels are equipped with tapered roller bearings on the king pins. This arrangement supports smooth wheel articulation and allows the grader to track as the skid steer changes direction. Together, the wheeled axle, oscillating construction and hydraulic cross-slope system provide a stable platform for precision finish grading.

Laser Grade-Control Provision

The HLA SLG84 includes a universal laser mast mount for integration with a suitable laser grading system. The manufacturer specifies consistent levelling within 1/4 inch of the target grade.
