Description

The HLA Attachments BRGC48BO500 48-inch Compact Brush Grapple is a hydraulic material-handling attachment designed for loaders and compact equipment equipped with a BO500 universal skid-steer-style quick-attach interface. Its compact 48-inch width, single grapple arm, and 38-inch maximum opening make it a practical choice for handling brush and other land-clearing material. AR400 tine tips and grapple tips provide durable contact points, while the six-inch tine spacing helps the attachment engage bulky material. Hydraulic operation is provided by one 2-1/2-inch by 8-inch cylinder connected to a suitable auxiliary or third-function hydraulic circuit.

Compact Hydraulic Grapple for Material Handling

The BRGC48BO500 combines a compact overall footprint with a hydraulically controlled grapple. It measures 28 inches high and 33 inches deep, with an approximate attachment weight of 405 pounds. The grapple opens to 38 inches when measured from the ground to the point of the grapple, providing space to capture and hold brush or similar material during cleanup and land-clearing work.

A single grapple arm provides the clamping action. The attachment’s tine tips and grapple tips are manufactured from AR400 material, placing wear-resistant material at the primary contact points. Tines are arranged at six-inch intervals on center across the 48-inch nominal working width.

Hydraulic Requirements

The grapple requires a suitable auxiliary or third-function hydraulic circuit and is equipped with one 2-1/2-inch by 8-inch hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic hoses and couplers are optional rather than included as a stated standard specification. No hydraulic flow or pressure requirement is published for this product.

Available hydraulic connection options include the HK90 90-inch hose kit with flat-faced couplers and the HK9090 90-inch hose kit with 90-degree flat-faced couplers. An SHMK spring hose mount kit is also available as an optional hose-support solution.
