Description

Greenworks Commercial 82V OPTIMUS ES161 Straight-Shaft Edger delivers professional edging performance for commercial grounds maintenance, landscape work, and demanding property-care applications. Powered by a 1.6 kW brushless motor with 36cc-equivalent performance, this battery-powered edger combines an 8-inch high-torque blade with cutting depth of up to 2.4 inches to produce clean, defined edges along paths, driveways, planting beds, and other landscaped areas. The tool-only configuration is designed for users already equipped with the Greenworks Commercial 82V battery platform.

Commercial Edging Performance

The ES161 is built to provide strong, controlled cutting without the need for a petrol engine. Its brushless motor is rated for 1,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, supporting reliable use across commercial workloads. The durable 8-inch blade provides an 8-inch working width and up to 2.4 inches of cutting depth, helping establish crisp boundaries and maintain neat landscape presentation.

Instant-on operation helps the edger get to work without the starting process associated with petrol-powered equipment. Two speed modes and a variable-speed trigger allow the operator to adjust operating control for different edging conditions and working preferences.

A curved aircraft-grade aluminum shaft provides a durable structural design while supporting the straight-shaft edger configuration.
