HLA Attachments MBHV96HDGRL84 Heavy-Duty High-Volume Grapple Bucket with BO500 Mounting combines a 96-inch front-end-loader material bucket with the matched 84-inch GRL84 Large Utility Grapple. Built for demanding material-handling applications, this assembly offers a generous 44.2-cubic-foot SAE heaped capacity, an 85-inch maximum grapple opening and the ability to handle large round bales up to 6 feet. Its BO500 universal skid-steer-style quick-attach interface provides a practical mounting solution for compatible loader carriers, while the reinforced bucket construction and hydraulic grapple help control bulky, loose or irregular loads.

Heavy-Duty Bucket Construction

The high-volume material bucket is made with 1/4-inch bucket material and 1/4-inch end plates. A reinforced top lip, round back and reinforced end plates provide strength while supporting efficient filling and cleanout. The self-cleaning tapered end plates are designed to reduce material buildup, helping the operator empty the bucket more effectively.

A 3/4-by-6-inch beveled cutting edge provides a durable working edge for loading and material handling. The bucket is also drilled to accept an optional standard bolt-on cutting edge. Its flat top can be used as a visual level indicator from the operator’s position, making it easier to judge bucket angle during loading and carrying.

Large Utility Grapple

The included GRL84 Large Utility Grapple is specifically sized for a 96-inch bucket or fork. At 84 inches wide, it provides broad coverage across the bucket and opens up to 85 inches for handling large or awkward materials. The grapple can accommodate round bales up to 6 feet in diameter, making the attachment suitable for bale handling as well as general bulk-material work.

The grapple uses a bolt-on grapple-post design and is supplied with its hydraulic cylinders. Hydraulic service from the loader is required to operate those cylinders. Optional HLA HK90 and HK9090 hose kits with flat-faced couplers are available, although hydraulic flow, pressure and connection requirements are not specified.
