Description

The Wallenstein WX970 25 Ton Horizontal Towable Log Splitter is a self-contained, gasoline-powered wood splitter designed for efficient firewood processing at home, on the farm, or at a woodlot. Its 25-ton split force and 48 in (122 cm) split opening provide substantial working capacity, while the integrated hydraulic log lifter helps raise larger rounds onto the splitting bed. A Vanguard 10 hp (305 cc) engine powers the self-contained hydraulic system, eliminating the need for tractor PTO operation. With a 2 in ball hitch, towable configuration, wide log shelves, and horizontal operating position, the WX970 is built for convenient transport and organized splitting.

The WX970 combines a 25-ton splitting force with a 48 in splitting bed to accommodate substantial logs. Its wide wedge and direct-pressure hydraulic system are designed for effective force transfer during operation.
