Description

The Wallenstein FX140RS Skidding Winch is a tractor-powered PTO skidding winch designed for demanding log-recovery and forest-management work. With a 14,000 lb (6,350 kg) pulling capacity, a 200 ft synthetic rope, and remote-controlled operation, it provides a practical way to pull timber toward the tractor while maintaining control from a suitable working position. The FX140RS combines a mechanical dry-disc clutch, 540 rpm PTO input, and Category II 3-point hitch mounting for use with compatible 80–120 hp tractors.

Reliable Pulling Performance

The FX140RS is built around a 14,000 lb pulling capacity for skidding applications that require substantial pulling force. Its synthetic rope measures 200 ft (60 m) in length and 1/2 in (13 mm) in diameter, providing useful reach when positioning the winch and connecting to logs. The winch has a line speed of 98–246 ft/min (30–75 m/min), supporting efficient operation across changing skidding conditions.

A mechanical, dry-disc clutch provides the winch type specified for this model, while the remote-controlled configuration allows operation without relying solely on controls mounted directly at the winch. Two included choker chains assist with securing loads for skidding, and two keyhole sliders are included as part of the equipment configuration.
