Description

The WALLENSTEIN BX52RHP 5in Chipper is a tractor-mounted PTO wood chipper with dual hydraulic roller feed and a built-in hydraulic power pack. Designed for tractors in the 40–55 hp range, it processes material up to 5 inches in diameter while supplying hydraulic power to the feed rollers through its integrated power pack. Because external tractor auxiliary hydraulics are not required, the BX52RHP is suitable for compatible compact tractors equipped with a Category I three-point hitch. It is designed for property maintenance, land clearing, pruning cleanup, and other applications where dependable, tractor-powered wood chipping is required.

Hydraulic Feed with Built-In Power Pack

The BX52RHP uses dual driven hydraulic rollers to help pull branches into the chipper. Its built-in PTO hydraulic power pack supplies the hydraulic power required by the feed system, so a tractor’s auxiliary hydraulic flow is not required. The fold-up feed hopper can be raised without tools, while the wide infeed opening and twig breaker support efficient handling of suitable branches and brush.

Heavy-Duty Chipping System

This disc-style chipper features an oversized heavy-duty rotor with four reversible chipper knives. The 25-inch rotor and 5 x 10-inch chipper infeed opening are designed for processing material up to 5 inches in diameter. A PTO direct-drive system transfers tractor power to the chipper, with a rated PTO speed of 540–1000 rpm.

Adjustable Discharge and Transport Features

The discharge chute rotates through 360 degrees, allowing the operator to position chips where required. An adjustable discharge chute, positional discharge deflector, and adjustable ski base support practical setup for different working conditions. For transport and storage, the machine folds to a width of 61 inches, compared with a 67-inch open working width.
