Description

WALLENSTEIN BXT52S 5" Chipper is a towable, self-contained gravity-feed disc wood chipper designed for processing round material up to 5 inches (13 cm) in diameter and flat material up to 10 inches (25 cm) wide. Powered by a Vanguard® 23 hp (627 cc) EFI engine, the BXT52S combines a heavy-duty rotor, hardened tool-steel reversible knives, and a wide infeed opening for capable wood-chipping performance without requiring a tractor PTO system. Its towable configuration, 2-inch ball coupler, adjustable discharge chute, and Torflex suspension axle make it well suited to moving between work areas for property maintenance, landscaping, and general wood-processing applications.

Product Highlights

The BXT52S uses gravity feed to draw material into its 5-inch by 10-inch infeed opening. A centrifugal clutch and belt-drive system transfer engine power to the disc rotor, while the oversized 25-inch rotor provides the mass needed for consistent chipping performance. Two reversible knives made from hardened tool steel help support extended service life and practical maintenance.

Chipped material exits through a discharge chute measuring 69 inches (175 cm) high. The chute rotates through 295 degrees, and its adjustable deflector helps position the discharge stream for the intended work area. An adjustable ski base, twig breaker, wide hopper opening, and electric start add useful operating convenience to this self-contained machine.
