WALLENSTEIN BXMT32G 3" Chipper/Shredder is a gasoline-powered, gravity-feed machine designed for processing small backyard tree limbs and brush. Its 3-inch chipping capacity and 1-inch shredding capacity combine with a Vanguard 14 hp engine, disc chipper, and hammer-mill shredder to handle a range of yard-clearing material. The towable, self-contained configuration supports convenient movement between work areas, while the adjustable discharge chute and positional discharge deflector help direct processed material where it is needed.

Efficient Chipping and Shredding

The BXMT32G uses gravity-feed operation to move material into the processing system. The disc-style chipper accepts material up to 3 inches (8 cm), with a 3-inch x 6-inch (7 cm x 15 cm) chipper infeed opening. For smaller brush and similar material, the integrated shredder provides a 1-inch (2.5 cm) shredding capacity through a hammer-mill design.

A centrifugal clutch and belt-drive system transmit power from the Vanguard engine to the rotor. The oversized heavy-duty rotor measures 18 inches (45 cm) in diameter and weighs 65 lb (29 kg). Two chipper knives and 27 shredder knives support the separate chipping and shredding functions, while reversible rotor knives provide an additional operational feature.

Designed for Practical Yard Cleanup

The integrated shredder hopper has a 27-inch x 29-inch (68 cm x 73 cm) opening, while the chipper hopper opening measures 14 inches x 15 inches (35 cm x 38 cm). Processed material exits through a discharge chute positioned 58 inches (147 cm) high. The chute rotates through 310°, and its adjustable design and positional deflector help manage discharge direction during operation.

With a total weight of 500 lb (226 kg), a tongue weight of 92 lb (41 kg), and 4.80 x 8 tires, the BXMT32G is built as a towable unit. Its self-contained gasoline power means operation is provided by the integrated Vanguard engine rather than a tractor PTO system.
