Efficient, Adjustable Raking Performance

The VRC1224 provides an adjustable raking width from 19.7 ft to 24.3 ft, allowing operators to match the rake to crop volume, field conditions, and desired windrow layout. Windrow width can also be adjusted from 24 in to 101 in. Tool-free adjustment of both raking width and windrow width helps simplify field setup without requiring additional tools.

Its 12 rake wheels measure 55 in (139.7 cm) in diameter and each feature 40 teeth. The high-clearance frame is designed to help reduce plugging when working in high-volume crops, while the rubber-torsion suspension on the toolbar helps maintain consistent rake-wheel ground pressure across changing terrain.

Convenient Hydraulic and Hitch Functions

The VRC1224 uses one double-acting hydraulic circuit to lift and lower the toolbars. The hydraulic system is designed to move the toolbars at the same rate and automatically lock them in various positions. A tool-free hitch-height adjustment further supports quick setup, helping operators adapt the machine to the tractor and working conditions.

Standard single-side raking provides left- or right-side capability for flexible windrow placement. Optional equipment includes a dual-wheel center splitter, rake-wheel wind discs, highway lights, and a safety chain.
