Its hydraulic flotation, hydraulic suspension, and individual lift cylinders help support consistent wheel contact across changing field conditions, while the wide adjustment range accommodates windrow widths from 36–72 in (91.4–182.9 cm). High-Capacity Hay Raking

The VR2040 combines 20 large 55-in (139.7-cm) rake wheels with hydraulic drive to cover a wide working area in a single pass. Each wheel uses 40 teeth with a 0.3-in (0.8-cm) tooth diameter. Hydraulic flotation helps the rake follow the field, while hydraulic suspension and a lift cylinder on each rake wheel support wheel movement and field handling.

A nitrogen-charged accumulator allows rake-wheel pressure adjustment. The toolbar provides 40 in (101.6 cm) of downward travel and 66 in (167.6 cm) of upward travel, helping the rake accommodate field contours. Automatic field transport locks support the transition between field operation and transport.
