The Vermeer TM1410 14-Disc Trailed Mower is a high-capacity pull-behind disc mower designed for efficient hay and forage cutting across broad fields. With a 20.8 ft (6.3 m) cutting width, 14-disc Q3® cutter bar, 1,000-rpm PTO drive, hydraulic suspension, and two independent cutter-bar units for contour following, the TM1410 combines wide coverage with controlled ground following. Its hydraulic pitch control, quick blade and shear-ring service systems, flotation-tire configuration, and standard road lights make it suited to productive field work and practical transport between cutting areas.

Efficient Wide-Cut Mowing

The TM1410 provides a 20.8-ft cutting width through a 14-disc cutting system, helping cover more ground in each pass. The Q3® cutter bar is equipped with 28 blades, 23-in (58.4-cm) discs, and a disc speed of 2,690 rpm. A standard Quick-Clip® blade retention system supports convenient blade servicing, while the standard Quick-Change™ shear ring provides a dedicated shear-ring service design.

Two independent cutter-bar units help the mower follow field contours. The nitrogen-charged accumulator suspension system provides hydraulic suspension, while wide skid shoes and modular independent skid shoes support the cutter bar during operation. Hydraulic pitch control allows angle adjustment, and the cut height is adjustable from 1–3 in (2.5–7.6 cm).

Tractor Requirements and Compatibility

The Vermeer TM1410 requires a tractor equipped with a 1,000-rpm PTO and a recommended PTO output of 105 hp (78.3 kW). The tractor must provide two double-acting hydraulic functions. The hydraulic system requirement is 1,850 psi (127.6 bar) at 6 gpm (22.7 L/min).

Attachment is through a Category II or III N 2-point quick hitch with swivel gearbox. Confirm that the tractor meets the PTO, hydraulic, hitch, lifting, and operating requirements before use.
