The Vermeer TM135 9-Disc Trailed Mower is a heavy-duty trailed rotary disc mower designed for efficient hay and forage cutting with a 13.5 ft (4.1 m) cutting width and 9-disc Q3® cutter bar. This TM1472321 variant is equipped with a 1,000-rpm PTO input and drawbar swivel hitch with swivel gearbox, providing a practical configuration for tractors fitted with a compatible Category II or III N drawbar. With hydraulic suspension, hydraulic pitch control, a hydraulic swing cylinder and Quick-Clip® blade retention, the TM135 is built to support productive field operation, consistent cutting performance and convenient handling during transport and setup.

The TM135 combines a wide cutting platform with a trailed design intended for demanding hay and forage work. Its 9-disc cutter bar uses 18 blades and operates at a disc speed of 2,700 rpm. The Q3® cutter bar provides a 1–3 in (2.5–7.6 cm) cut-height range, while hydraulic pitch control allows the cutter bar angle to be adjusted for field conditions.

A drawbar swivel hitch and swivel gearbox support the supplied configuration, while the hydraulic swing cylinder enables the mower to be positioned for operation. Nitrogen-charged hydraulic suspension helps support the mower during field use, and the heavy-duty frame with 31 × 13.5-16 tires is designed for the demands of a trailed machine.

Tractor Requirements and Compatibility

The Vermeer TM135 requires a tractor with a compatible Category II or III N drawbar and a recommended minimum tractor PTO power of 70 hp (52.2 kW). The supplied configuration specifies a 1,000-rpm PTO input; the TM135 platform is also listed with 540-rpm or 1,000-rpm PTO input options. Confirm that the tractor configuration matches the 1,000-rpm requirement before operation.

Two tractor remote hydraulic functions are required: one single-acting function for lift and one double-acting function for swing. The hydraulic system requirement is 1,900 psi (131 bar) at 6 gpm (22.7 L/min).
