The Vermeer TM1200 12-Disc Trailed Mower is a heavy-duty trailed disc mower designed for efficient hay cutting across a 15.5 ft (4.7 m) cutting width. With 12 self-contained cutter-bar discs, hydraulic suspension, hydraulic pitch control, and a 1,000 rpm PTO configuration, it provides a productive mowing solution for operators seeking broad coverage and practical field performance. Product Overview

The Vermeer TM1200 combines a wide 15.5 ft (4.7 m) cutting width with a working width of 22 ft (6.7 m), supporting efficient mowing operations while maintaining a transport width of 8.5 ft (2.6 m). Its 12-disc cutter bar uses 24 blades and operates at a disc speed of 2,950 rpm. The standard cutter bar is adjustable across a 1.3–3 in (3.3–7.6 cm) cutting-height range, while hydraulic pitch control allows the operator to adjust the mower angle from the tractor.

Hydraulic suspension helps support the mower during operation, and the standard modular independent skid shoes help protect the cutter bar. Optional topping wear skids and an optional swath board are available as specified equipment options. Highway lights are standard for transport visibility.

Tractor Requirements

The Vermeer TM1200 requires a tractor equipped with a 2-point hitch, category II or III N, and a compatible 1,000 rpm PTO for this configuration. The mower can accept either a 540 rpm or 1,000 rpm PTO, but this product configuration is identified as 1,000 rpm. A tractor with at least 85 hp (63 kW) is recommended.

Hydraulic operation requires two double-acting hydraulic remotes. The hydraulic system requirement is 1,500 psi (100 bar) with a flow rate of 6 gpm (20 L/min).
