Description

The Vermeer TM105 7-Disc Trailed Mower is a trailed disc mower designed for efficient hay and forage cutting, combining a 10.7 ft (3.3 m) cutting width with a 540-rpm PTO drive and a drawbar with swivel gearbox. Cutting Performance and Cutter Bar

The TM105 uses a seven-disc Q3® cutter bar with a 23 in (58.4 cm) disc diameter and a disc speed of 2,700 rpm. The 14-blade configuration supports the mower’s 10.7 ft (3.3 m) cutting width, while hydraulic pitch control allows adjustment of the cutter-bar angle. The specified cut-height range is 1–3 in (2.5–7.6 cm).

Maintenance-focused features include the standard Quick Clip® blade retention system and Quick-Change™ shear ring. A driveline friction disc clutch provides torque protection. Standard modular independent skid shoes are included, with topping skid shoes and wear skids available as optional features. A right crop divider, left swath wheel, and highway lights are also listed as optional equipment, while a right swath wheel is standard.

Tractor Requirements

The Vermeer TM105 is designed for use with a tractor equipped with a 540-rpm PTO and a recommended PTO power of 60 hp (44.7 kW). The standard supported hitch arrangement is a drawbar with swivel gearbox. It can alternatively be used with a 2-point hitch with swivel gearbox, Category II or III N.

Hydraulic operation requires two remote hydraulic circuits: a single-acting circuit for lift and a double-acting circuit for swing. The hydraulic system specification is 1,900 psi (131 bar) with a flow rate of 6 gpm (22.7 L/min).
