Efficient Center-Delivery Raking

The Vermeer RR235C combines two rotors with a center windrow position to bring material together between the rotors. The raking width can be adjusted from 21.5 to 23.4 ft (6.6 to 7.1 m), while the windrow width range is 51–73 in (129.5–185.4 cm). This adjustment range allows operators to set the machine for the desired field coverage and windrow formation.

Each rotor uses 11 tine arms, for 22 tine arms in total, with four double tines per arm. The 10.3 ft (3.1 m) rotor diameter and 0.3 in (0.8 cm) tooth diameter support the machine’s forage-gathering configuration. Rotor lift is hydraulic, and manual windrow-width adjustment is standard, with hydraulic adjustment available as an option.

Tractor Requirements and Connections

The RR235C requires a tractor with a minimum of 55 PTO hp (41 kW), a 540 rpm PTO, and a minimum tractor weight of 2,650 lb (1,202 kg). The implement uses a Category III N (narrow) 2-point hitch.

Hydraulic operation requires one single-acting control valve with a float function for rotor raise and lower. When equipped with rake-arm extend/retract functionality, one double-acting control valve without float is required. An optional electric rotor raise/lower selector requires a 12 VDC battery connection.
