Description

The Vermeer MC150 Mower Conditioner is a 15-ft disc mower conditioner designed for efficient forage cutting and conditioning in demanding hay operations. This configuration features a rubber-roller conditioner, a 1,000-rpm PTO drive, and a 2-point swivel gearbox hitch compatible with Category II or III N tractors. With a 15-ft cutting width, 15.3-ft working width, Q3 cutter bar, hydraulic pitch control, and adjustable windrow formation, the MC150 is suited to operators who need broad field coverage and controlled crop conditioning in a single pass.

Efficient Cutting and Conditioning

The MC150 combines a 10-disc Q3 cutter bar with a rubber-roller conditioner configuration documented within the Vermeer MC150 model family. The cutter bar uses 20 blades and operates at a disc speed of 2,700 rpm. A 1- to 8-in cutting-height range provides adjustment for different field and crop conditions, while the 118-in conditioner width supports consistent conditioning across the machine’s working area.

The rubber rollers operate at 740 rpm and are driven by a 4-band banded V-belt system. Windrow width can be adjusted from 62 to 112 in, allowing operators to set crop placement according to drying requirements, subsequent pickup equipment, and field conditions.
