Angle adjustment is made through the 3-point top link, allowing the operator to set the mower position for field conditions and desired cutting height.

The M8050 features a standard modular independent skid-shoe arrangement and a V-belt driveline. Its curtain is made from 1,400 g/m² polyester woven material with a flexible PVC covering. Quick Clip® blade retention is standard, providing a specified blade-retention system for the 16-blade cutter bar. Optional equipment includes a crop divider and swath wheel, as well as topping skid shoes and wear skids.
