Description

Vermeer FM110 Front Mower with Steel Flail Conditioner delivers a 10.9-ft (3.3-m) cutting width for efficient front-mounted mowing and conditioning. Built around a gear-bed cutter bar with eight discs and 16 blades, this FM110 configuration combines high-capacity cutting with a steel V-tine flail conditioner to process forage across a 105-in (266.7-cm) conditioner width. Hydraulic suspension helps the mower adapt to ground contours, while the front 3-point CAT II hitch and 1,000-rpm PTO configuration make it suited to compatible tractors and combination mowing applications, including use with the Vermeer CM295 for a triple-mower setup.

Efficient Cutting and Conditioning

The FM110 uses a gear-bed cutter bar with eight discs rotating at 3,000 rpm. Sixteen blades support the 10.9-ft cutting width, while the Quick Clip blade retention system is designed for convenient blade servicing. Four-brass-pin Quick-Change shear protection helps protect the cutter bar, and Hardox steel cutter-bar pods and wear skids provide durable components in areas exposed to field wear.

After cutting, the steel V-tine flail conditioner processes the crop across a 105-in width. The flail working diameter is 19 in, with selectable low and high tine speeds of 750 rpm and 1,000 rpm. Swathboards are included with the conditioner configuration, allowing a stated windrow width range of 75–106 in. Optional topping skids are also available for this configuration.

Designed for Front-Mounted Mowing

Hydraulic suspension supports ground adaptation during field operation. The mower has a front 3-point CAT II hitch and requires a 1,000-rpm PTO. The flail-conditioner configuration has a weight of 2,450 lb (1,111.3 kg) and a recommended PTO horsepower of 110 hp (81 kW). Torque protection is provided by a friction and overrunning clutch.
