Description

The Vermeer BW600 Inline Bale Wrapper is a high-capacity solution for wrapping round bales quickly and consistently in the field. Powered by a Honda 20-hp engine configuration and equipped with a self-contained hydraulic system, the BW600 is designed to provide operational control, efficient bale handling, and airtight wrapping to support nutrient preservation. Remote steering and engine start/stop help simplify operation, while the digital LCD control system allows key machine functions to be managed from a central interface. With a stated capacity of up to 120 bales per hour, the BW600 is suited to demanding hay and forage operations requiring productive inline bale wrapping.

Efficient Inline Bale Wrapping

The BW600 combines a 20-hp Honda engine configuration with a self-contained hydraulic system delivering 14 gpm (53 L/min). Its digital control system features an LCD display, and hoop speed can be adjusted through the digital controller to support controlled wrapping operation. Three 30-inch (76.2-cm) film stretchers provide 55% stretch, helping apply film consistently around the bale.

Fixed bale guides support bale alignment as bales move through the wrapper. The machine can handle round bales up to 6 feet in diameter by 5 feet wide (1.7 m by 1.5 m), with a manufacturer-stated wrapping capacity of up to 120 bales per hour.

Operator Control and Guidance

Remote steering and engine start/stop are standard on the BW600, providing convenient control during operation. The steering system uses an electric-over-hydraulic joystick with remote control. Optional equipment listed for this configuration includes LED work lights, discharge guide rollers or a remote guide, plastic film sensor alert, spring-assisted final bale push-off, and laser guidance.
