Description

Vermeer BW600 Inline Bale Wrapper is a self-contained, high-capacity solution for wrapping round bales efficiently and consistently in hay and forage operations. Powered by a Honda 20-hp (15-kW) engine, the BW600 combines electric starting, digital controls, remote steering, and remote engine start/stop to give operators precise control during wrapping and transport. Its three 30-inch (76.2-cm) film stretchers, fixed bale guides, and progressively moving hoop are designed to support airtight wrapping and optimized nutrient preservation, with a verified capacity of up to 120 bales per hour.

Efficient Inline Bale Wrapping

The Vermeer BW600 is an inline bale wrapper built for productive field operation. Its self-contained hydraulic system eliminates the need to rely on external tractor hydraulics, while the 20-hp engine provides the power for the machine’s hydraulic functions. The digital control system includes an LCD display, wrap counter, and digitally adjustable hoop speed, helping operators monitor and manage the wrapping process.

Remote electric-over-hydraulic steering allows the machine to be guided remotely, and remote engine start/stop is standard. Fixed bale guides help maintain bale alignment as bales move through the wrapping process. The three 55% film stretchers are designed to apply consistent stretch to the wrapping film, supporting a tight and effective bale seal.

Connection and Equipment Options

The BW600 uses a drawbar connection and has its own self-contained hydraulic system. LED work lights, discharge guide rollers, plastic sensor alert, spring-assisted final bale push-off, and laser guidance are available as optional equipment. LED work lights are not verified as included with the BW6638101 configuration.
