Description

The Vermeer BPX9010 Bale Processor – 2-Bale Capacity, Standard Tires [BPX395681] is designed to process two large round bales with consistent feeding and controlled material distribution. Its vertical bale lift system, offset rotor, three roller chains with bolt-on cross slats, and adjustable cut control bar support efficient bale handling and processing for hay and livestock-feeding applications. The standard-tire configuration includes 14L x 16.1FL tires, while the processor delivers a horizontal spread distance of up to 50 ft (15.2 m) and a working width of 11.2 ft (3.4 m).

Key Features

Processing and Distribution

The BPX9010 uses an offset rotor to support consistent bale feeding into the processing system. The flail drum measures 26.8 in (68.1 cm) in diameter and 78 in (198.1 cm) in length, with 30 flails operating at 1,000 rpm. Each flail measures 7/16 in x 5-9/16 in (1.1 cm x 14.1 cm) and is made from tempered spring material.

Material discharge is directed to the right-hand side, with a horizontal spread distance of up to 50 ft (15.2 m). Operators can adjust the cut control bar using a hand lever with five settings, along with an additional high/low setting, to suit different processing requirements.

Tractor Requirements

The Vermeer BPX9010 requires a tractor with a minimum PTO rating of 85 hp (63 kW). Vermeer lists 100 hp (74.6 kW) as the recommended PTO horsepower and 210 hp (156.6 kW) as the maximum. The processor operates with a 1,000-rpm PTO.

Hydraulic requirements include three double-acting hydraulic circuits, 2,000 psi (137.9 bar) of hydraulic pressure, and an 8 gpm (30.3 L/min) hydraulic flow rate. The hydraulic configuration can use two double-acting circuits with the optional kit.

Bale Compatibility

The BPX9010 processes two bales measuring up to 6 ft x 5 ft (1.8 m x 1.5 m), with a maximum bale weight capacity of 2,500 lb (1,134 kg). It is specified for round bales. Large square bales require the optional powered sidewall kit and optional straight fork kit.
