Description

The Vermeer BPX9010 Bale Processor is designed to process up to two bales and distribute material with a right-hand discharge pattern. Its vertical bale lift system, direct-drive system, three roller chains with bolt-on cross slats, and 30-flail drum support consistent bale handling and processing. With a horizontal spread distance of up to 50 ft (15.2 m), the BPX9010 is suited to livestock feeding, bedding, and other agricultural applications where controlled bale processing and wide material distribution are required. An optional square bale kit and optional flotation tires provide additional configuration flexibility.

Processing and Distribution

The BPX9010 is built around a two-bale capacity, allowing it to accommodate bales up to 6 ft x 5 ft. Bale rotation is managed by three roller chains fitted with bolt-on cross slats, while the flail drum processes the bale material. The drum measures 26.8 in (68.1 cm) in diameter and 78 in (198.1 cm) in length, and uses 30 tempered-spring flails measuring 7/16 in x 5-9/16 in (1.1 cm x 14.1 cm).

Material is discharged to the right-hand side and can be spread horizontally up to 50 ft (15.2 m), helping cover a broad feeding or bedding area. The optional square bale kit expands configuration capability for supported square-bale applications.

Tractor Requirements

The Vermeer BPX9010 requires a tractor with a 1,000 rpm PTO and a minimum of 85 PTO hp (63 kW). Vermeer recommends 100 PTO hp (74.6 kW), with a maximum PTO rating of 210 hp (156.6 kW). Hydraulic requirements are 3 double-acting remotes, or 2 double-acting remotes with the optional kit, together with hydraulic flow of 8 gpm (30.3 L/min) at 2,000 psi (137.9 bar).
