Built for High-Capacity Hay Baling

The Vermeer 605N uses a dual-stage bale chamber and eight premium mini rough-top belts to form round bales across a broad 36- to 72-inch diameter range. The 61-inch bale width supports the machine’s 5-ft x 6-ft designation, while the 77-inch tooth-to-tooth pickup width and 90-inch outside flare help accommodate gathered windrows.

Hydraulic pickup lift supports convenient pickup operation, and the supplied configuration includes a pickup clutch. Vermeer lists radial pin clutch or friction clutch with slip-sensing as pickup-clutch options. The hydraulic bale ramp assists with bale discharge, while the optional 21.5L-16.1 flotation tires provide the listed flotation-tire configuration and increase transport width compared with standard tires.

Control and Tying Equipment

The E-Link Pro control system provides operation through a 7-inch color touchscreen, and ISOBUS capability is standard.
