Vermeer 504R Signature Round Baler is a variable-chamber baler designed to produce consistent 4-ft x 5-ft round bales for haymaking operations. Built for Consistent Bale Formation

The variable bale chamber supports bale production from 36 to 60 in in diameter, while the 47 in bale width is designed for 4-ft x 5-ft bale production. Two standard bale-shape indicators help the operator monitor bale formation, while standard moisture sensing provides real-time readings up to 29%. These features help support informed baling decisions as crop conditions change.

Crop pickup is handled by a 5-bar camless wide pickup fitted with 60 double steel-coil teeth. The teeth are spaced 2.83 in apart across the 60 in pickup width, helping gather a broad windrow. Standard 4.8-16 HD semi-pneumatic gauge wheels with spring assist provide pickup flotation, while the standard-lubrication driveline uses a friction clutch.

Operator Control and Baling Features

The Atlas Pro control system is operated through a 7 in colour touchscreen. Standard extra net-roll storage provides additional carrying capacity for net rolls. Tractor Requirements

The Vermeer 504R Signature requires a tractor supplying a minimum of 45 PTO hp (33.6 kW). Vermeer recommends 55 PTO hp (41 kW) for operation. The baler is designed for a 540 rpm PTO.
