Vermeer 504 Pro G4 Round Baler is a variable-chamber round baler engineered for versatility, durability, and ease of use when producing premium forage. This configured machine combines a 4 ft bale width and variable bale diameter from 36 to 60 in with a 1,000-rpm PTO drive, rear-load netwrap system, spring-loaded bale ramp, 17-knife chopping system, and 21.5L-16.1 flotation tires. It is suited to hay and forage operations that need consistent bale formation, controlled bale density, convenient plug clearing, and practical handling across field conditions.

Built for Consistent Bale Production

The 504 Pro G4 forms bales 48 in wide, with selectable bale diameters from 36 to 60 in. Four endless belts, each 11.2 in wide, support bale formation, while standard bale-shape indicators and a digital density gauge help operators monitor bale development. Bale density can be adjusted through the control-system monitor.

For crop pickup, the baler uses a camless wide pickup with a 73-in tooth-to-tooth width and 78-in outside-flair width. Its 75 double rubber-mounted teeth are designed for dependable crop gathering. A standard hydraulic pickup lift supports convenient adjustment during operation and transport.

Operator Control and Convenience

The Atlas Pro control system uses a 7-in color touchscreen to provide access to key baler functions and bale information. Standard ISOBUS supports integration with compatible tractor control systems. The monitor provides bale-density adjustment, a digital density gauge, and net-system information, helping the operator manage bale formation and wrapping from the cab.

The drop floor with cab-controlled plug clearing is designed to help address crop plugs without leaving the tractor seat. The spring-loaded bale ramp assists bale discharge, while the rear-load netwrap system supports practical roll loading and net-tension management.
