Description

The Wallenstein WX430 25-Ton Inverted Horizontal Skid-Steer Log Splitter is designed for efficient firewood processing with a universal quick-attach mounting system for skid-steer loaders. Its inverted-horizontal configuration allows logs to be handled without lifting them onto a conventional splitter bed, while the 25-ton split force, 36-inch split opening, wide wedge, and direct-pressure splitting design provide a practical solution for demanding wood-splitting work. Hydraulic hoses and couplers are included, and the splitter is designed around a recommended hydraulic flow of 13 gpm (50 lpm).

Efficient Skid-Steer Log Splitting

The WX430 connects to a skid-steer loader equipped with a universal quick-attach / SSQA mounting system. Once mounted, the skid-steer supplies the hydraulic power needed to operate the splitter. The inverted-horizontal layout helps simplify log handling by allowing logs to be processed without loading them onto the bed of a conventional horizontal splitter.

With a 36-inch (91 cm) split opening and a 4.5-inch (11 cm) cylinder, the WX430 is suited to processing substantial logs. Its 10-inch (25 cm) wedge height, wide wedge, built-in block stripper plates, and direct-pressure splitting design support consistent splitting performance. Average splitter cycle time is listed as 11.43 seconds, while the full cycle time is 22.86 seconds; actual cycle times depend on the hydraulic flow of the skid-steer loader.

The Wallenstein WX430 is compatible with a skid-steer loader equipped with a universal quick-attach / SSQA mounting system. The recommended hydraulic flow is 13 gpm (50 lpm). Hydraulic hoses and couplers are included with the splitter. PTO specifications and tractor horsepower requirements do not apply to this skid-steer-driven model.
