Description

The NM Attachments 3HD-18 Heavy-Duty Tooth Bucket is an 18-inch excavator bucket designed for general-purpose trenching and excavation on machines rated approximately 6,000–10,000 lb, or roughly 3–5 tons. Built from high-strength structural steel, it combines a compact 2.75 cu ft capacity with four CAT-style replaceable teeth for digging performance in a heavy-duty format. AR400 reinforcement is applied to critical wear areas, including the bottom wear straps, side wear plates, and side cutters, helping protect high-contact sections during demanding work. A standard C-type lifting hook is also included for practical handling when the bucket is not mounted to the excavator.

Heavy-Duty Excavation Performance

The 18-inch working width is suited to trenching and general excavation where a narrower digging profile is required. Four CAT-style replaceable teeth provide the bucket’s digging edge, while the replaceable-tooth design supports serviceability when tooth components require replacement. The 2.75 cu ft capacity offers useful material-handling volume while retaining the focused working width associated with trenching applications.

For increased protection in high-wear zones, the bucket uses AR400 reinforcement on the bottom wear straps, side wear plates, and side cutters. These reinforced areas complement the bucket’s high-strength structural steel construction and are intended for use in demanding excavation conditions.
