HLA Attachments SSC96BO500 96-Inch Hydraulic Side-Discharge Sawdust/Material Bucket combines a 2-1/2 cu yd approximate heaped capacity with controlled left- or right-side discharge for efficient material placement. Designed for loaders and material handlers with a universal skid-steer quick-attach interface, this bucket uses a 12-inch-wide heavy-duty rubber conveyor belt with 3/4-inch cleats, two hydraulic belt motors, and a hydraulically driven beater to keep material moving. Its 96-inch inside width and operator-selectable discharge direction make it a practical solution for handling and distributing sawdust and similar materials where accurate placement and consistent flow are important.

Controlled Side Discharge

The SSC96BO500 can discharge material from either side without requiring setup changes. This allows the operator to select the most suitable discharge direction for the work area while remaining in the machine. Adjustable discharge doors provide additional control over material delivery, helping the operator adapt the bucket to the application.

A 12-inch-wide heavy-duty rubber belt carries material across the bucket. The belt is equipped with 3/4-inch cleats to support positive material movement, while adjustable belt tensioners help maintain the conveyor system. The hydraulic coupled direct-drive design eliminates the need for a separate mechanical belt-drive arrangement.

Material-Flow System

In addition to the two hydraulic motors that power the discharge belt, the bucket has a dedicated hydraulic beater motor. The driven beater improves material flow and helps prevent bridging inside the bucket. Shield fingers assist in breaking up material clumps before they reach the conveyor, supporting a more consistent discharge process.

The SSC96 configuration provides an approximate heaped capacity of 2-1/2 cu yd. Its combination of capacity, hydraulic conveyor, beater, and reversible discharge is designed to reduce the manual effort associated with positioning and distributing bulk material.

Compatibility and Mounting

The SSC96BO500 is supplied with HLA Attachments’ BO500 universal skid-steer quick-attach mounting interface. It is intended for loaders and material handlers equipped with a compatible universal skid-steer quick-attach system. The bolt-on mounting design can also be converted to fit most material handlers.

Confirm the carrier’s quick-attach interface, hydraulic flow, operating capacity, and attachment weight limits before use. The bucket has a manufacturer-listed approximate weight of 1,560 lb before material is loaded.

Hydraulic Requirements

A minimum hydraulic flow of 12 GPM is required. The hydraulic system operates two belt motors and one beater motor. The carrier must provide suitable hydraulic capability for the attachment’s direct-drive conveyor and beater system.
