HLA Attachments MBHV96GRL84BO500 96-Inch Regular-Duty High-Volume Loader Bucket with GRL84 Grapple combines a spacious material bucket, a heavy-duty hydraulic Large Utility Grapple and a BO500 quick-attach mounting configuration in one versatile front-end-loader attachment. Designed for material handling and bale work, the 96-inch bucket offers a 44.2 cu ft SAE heaped capacity, while the 84-inch grapple opens to 85 inches and can handle round bales up to 6 feet. Its reinforced construction, self-cleaning end plates and removable grapple mounting posts make it a practical choice for farms, yards and other operations that need to scoop, carry, secure and place bulky material.

High-Volume Material Handling

The MBHV96 is a regular-duty, high-volume bucket with a 96-inch nominal and inside width. It provides 36.3 cu ft of struck capacity and 44.2 cu ft of SAE heaped capacity, allowing it to carry substantial volumes of suitable loose or bulky material. The bucket measures 34 inches deep and 30 inches high, with an approximate outside width of 98 inches.

A round back, reinforced top lip and reinforced end plates add strength to the bucket structure. Tapered, self-cleaning end plates help reduce material buildup, while the flat top of the bucket can be used as a visual level indicator during loader operation.

Large Utility Grapple

The matched GRL84 Large Utility Grapple is 84 inches wide and features a heavy-duty design intended for handling large round and square bales. Its maximum 85-inch opening provides room to secure bulky loads, including round bales measuring up to 6 feet. Hydraulic grapple cylinders are included.

The grapple is installed using removable, bolt-on mounting posts. This arrangement provides a serviceable connection between the grapple and bucket while allowing the grapple mounting components to be removed when required.

Hydraulic Requirements

Loader auxiliary hydraulics are required to open and close the grapple. The hydraulic cylinders are included, but hose kits are optional. Available HLA options include the HK90 90-inch hose kit with flat-faced couplers and the HK9090 90-inch hose kit with 90-degree flat-faced couplers. Hydraulic flow and pressure requirements are not specified.

Mounting and Compatibility

The BO500 mounting code is used by HLA for skid-steer/universal-style quick-attach carrier applications on various loader models. Exact fit must be confirmed against the host loader’s make, model and carrier before purchase or installation.

The GRL84 grapple is matched to a 96-inch bucket or fork. HLA’s Large Utility Grapple fits the SB, SBHV, MB, MBHV, MBHVX and THMB attachment families. It does not fit THMBHV or THMBHVX buckets.

Optional Equipment

An optional LP101576 bolt-on grapple guard is available and weighs 52 lb. Optional hydraulic hose kits and a standard bolt-on cutting edge can also be selected where required for the loader and application.
