Description

The HLA Attachments BRB84BO500 84-Inch Hydraulic Rotary Pick-up Broom is a heavy-duty cleanup attachment designed for skid-steer loaders. Combining an 84-inch working width, a 19.2-cubic-foot collection bucket and hydraulically driven 26-inch bristle wafers, it collects loose material while sweeping parking lots, construction sites, streets, curbs, gutters, parks and recreation areas. Reversible broom rotation allows the operator to sweep away from doors and other sensitive areas, while the replaceable hardened cutting edge helps the bucket handle demanding cleanup work.

Efficient Sweeping and Material Collection

The BRB84BO500 is designed to sweep and collect debris in a single attachment. Its wide working path supports efficient coverage of larger areas, while the integrated collection bucket provides 19.2 cubic feet of capacity. A hydraulic direct motor drive powers the broom without a separate mechanical drive system.

Standard bristle wafers use a poly/steel construction and measure 26 inches in diameter. This combination provides a practical sweeping system for a range of property maintenance, municipal and construction-site applications. For jobs that require a different bristle configuration, all-poly wafers are available as an option.

Controlled Operation

A fixed front gauge wheel supports consistent broom positioning during operation. The broom also features standard reversible rotation, giving operators the ability to change the sweeping direction. This is particularly useful when working near building entrances or doors where material needs to be directed away from the structure.

The collection bucket is equipped with a replaceable, hardened 3/4-by-6-inch double-bevel cutting edge. Its replaceable design allows the wear component to be serviced rather than requiring replacement of the complete bucket edge.

Applications

The HLA hydraulic rotary pick-up broom is intended for cleanup tasks across commercial, construction, municipal and recreational environments. Suitable applications include sweeping parking lots, streets, construction sites, curbs and gutters, as well as maintaining parks and recreation areas. Its collection-bucket design helps contain swept material for transport and disposal.

Loader Compatibility

The BRB84BO500 comes with a standard skid-steer attachment interface and is compatible with skid-steer loaders using that interface. Other loader mounting configurations are available by ordering the optional BOQBK mount package.

Hydraulic Requirements

The host loader must provide hydraulic oil flow of 12–20 GPM at a pressure of 1,500–3,000 PSI. Hydraulic hoses and flat-faced couplers are included with the broom.

Optional Dust Suppression

For applications where airborne dust needs to be controlled, an optional dust-suppression water kit is available. The kit includes a 25-gallon tank with a spray nozzle, allowing water to be applied during sweeping.
