HLA Attachments SB84GR72BO500 84-Inch Regular-Duty Skid-Steer Grapple Bucket combines an SB84 standard skid-steer bucket with a correctly sized GR72 regular utility grapple and BO500 universal skid-steer quick-attach mounting configuration. Designed for loading, carrying, gripping and controlling bulky or loose material, this versatile hydraulic grapple bucket accommodates materials such as manure as well as 4 ft round bales. Its 70 in maximum grapple opening, twin hydraulic cylinders and reinforced bucket construction make it a practical material-handling attachment for farms, yards and general property maintenance.

Versatile Bucket and Grapple Combination

The SB84GR72 configuration pairs an 84 in nominal inside-width bucket with a 72 in grapple specifically sized for the bucket. The grapple is operated by two 2-1/2 in x 8 in hydraulic cylinders, providing a maximum opening of 70 in. This wide opening helps the attachment accept large, irregular or bulky loads, while the grapple helps retain and control material during handling and transport.

The bucket provides a 19.2 cu ft struck capacity and a 24.3 cu ft SAE heaped capacity. Its round-back profile supports material handling, while self-cleaning tapered end plates help reduce material retention around the bucket sides. A flat top surface also serves as a convenient level indicator from the operator’s position.

Regular-Duty Construction

HLA builds the bucket with 3/16 in material and 1/4 in end plates. Reinforcement is incorporated into the top lip, round back and end plates to support regular-duty use. At the working edge, a 3/4 in x 4 in beveled cutting edge provides a substantial contact surface for loading and cleanup work.

The bucket is also drilled to accept an optional standard bolt-on cutting edge. This allows the cutting-edge configuration to be adapted when an additional replaceable wear edge is desired.
