Its reinforced construction, 1/4-inch bucket material, 1/4-inch end plates and substantial 3/4 x 6-inch beveled cutting edge make it well suited to demanding loading, carrying, grading and cleanout work. With a 24.3-cubic-foot SAE heaped capacity and an approximate weight of 710 lb, it provides a practical combination of capacity, strength and durability.

Heavy-Duty Bucket Construction

The SB84HD is designed with reinforcement in key areas exposed to regular loading forces and material abrasion. Its reinforced top lip strengthens the upper edge, while the reinforced round back and end plates contribute to overall bucket rigidity. The rounded interior profile also supports easy filling and cleanout, helping material flow into and out of the bucket more effectively.

Tapered, self-cleaning end plates are designed to reduce material buildup during operation. The flat top can be used as a visual level indicator, helping the operator judge bucket position while approaching a pile, grading or carrying material. At the working edge, the bucket is equipped with a 3/4 x 6-inch beveled cutting edge and is pre-drilled to accept a standard bolt-on cutting edge.
