Independent Dual-Grapple Material Handling

The RRG78BO500 uses two independently operating hydraulic grapples rather than a single full-width clamping section. This arrangement allows each grapple to clamp against the material beneath it, providing more complete contact when securing brush, roots, rocks, and other loads with uneven shapes.

Its dual-clamshell design supports both raking and grapple work. The lower rake separates and gathers material, while the upper grapples hold collected debris for lifting, carrying, and repositioning. The 48.5-inch maximum opening accommodates bulky material, and the grapple closes to an overall attachment height of 34 inches.

Rake and Point Configuration

The 78-inch nominal working width provides broad ground coverage for clearing applications. Rake tines are arranged at 7-inch centre-to-centre spacing, helping the attachment gather larger roots, rocks, brush, and debris while material can pass between the tines.
