Unlike a conventional flat-bottom bucket, this HLA Attachments swale bucket has a V-bottom design that shapes the soil into a defined drainage profile. It is well suited to constructing and maintaining shallow swales, cleaning and contouring ditches, and performing general grading around landscaping and property-maintenance projects.

The bucket measures 72 inches across the inside and has a 6-inch swale depth. Its 15.3-cubic-foot struck capacity allows it to carry and distribute material while establishing the required contour. A flat top provides a clear visual level indicator from the operator’s position, helping with consistent grading passes.

Durable Bucket Construction

The SBSW72 uses 3/16-inch bucket material with 1/4-inch end plates for strength where the bucket meets and contains the material. A reinforced top lip helps stiffen the bucket structure, while the 3/4-by-4-inch bevelled cutting edge provides a substantial ground-contact surface for cutting, shaping, and finishing.
