HLA Attachments SST72 Side Discharge Straw/Lime Bucket with BO500 Quick-Attach Adapter is a hydraulically powered material-handling attachment designed for controlled discharge from either side. Its 72-inch inside width, approximately 2-cubic-yard heaped capacity and direct-coupled hydraulic drive make it suitable for distributing chopped straw, sawdust, wood shavings, fine-to-medium wood chips, corn silage and premixed TMR. The included BO500 bolt-on mounting adapter provides compatibility with specified New Holland quick-attach systems, while the reversible discharge design allows the operator to change discharge sides without making setup changes.

Controlled Left- or Right-Side Discharge

The SST72 uses a 12-inch-wide, high-abrasion rubber conveyor belt equipped with 1-1/2-inch paddles to move material out of the bucket. It can discharge from either the left or right side without requiring the attachment to be reconfigured, helping operators adapt to different working directions, layouts and material-placement needs.

A hydraulically driven metering drum regulates the flow of material onto the conveyor belt. The integrated beater and agitator help prevent material from bridging inside the bucket, promoting a more consistent feed. The system is powered by one hydraulic belt motor and one hydraulic drum/beater motor, with a minimum hydraulic flow requirement of 12 GPM.

Designed for Loading, Visibility and Service Access

The flared bucket design supports snag-free loading when working along a wall. A mesh rear panel improves the operator’s visibility into the attachment and makes it easier to monitor the material level during use. For maintenance and servicing, the conveyor assembly can be removed to provide better access to the working components.

This configuration combines the HLA SST72 base model with the BO500 bolt-on New Holland quick-attach adapter. HLA’s bolt-on adapter system provides the mounting interface while retaining the functional design of the side-discharge bucket.
