Description

HLA Attachments 66-inch Regular-Duty Standard Skid-Steer Bucket with GRS60 Grapple combines the SB66 material bucket with a hydraulic grapple for controlled material handling. Supplied in the BO500 universal skid-steer attachment configuration, this grapple bucket is designed for skid steers with limited clearance around the grapple arms. Its 66-inch inside width, 45-inch grapple opening and twin 2-1/2-inch by 8-inch hydraulic cylinders provide a practical combination for loading, carrying and securing material. Reinforced construction, a bevelled cutting edge and a self-cleaning bucket profile make it a versatile attachment for regular-duty work.

Bucket and Grapple Design

The SB66GRS60 pairs a regular-duty standard material bucket with HLA Attachments’ GRS60 grapple. The grapple opens to 45 inches, allowing it to close over and retain material inside the bucket. Its compact arm arrangement is specifically designed for skid steers where grapple-arm clearance may be limited.

The bucket has a 66-inch inside width and measures approximately 68 inches across the outside. It provides a struck capacity of 15.0 cubic feet and an SAE heaped capacity of 19.0 cubic feet. With a 28-inch depth and 26-inch height, it offers useful capacity while maintaining the dimensions of a regular-duty skid-steer bucket.

Durable Regular-Duty Construction

The bucket shell is manufactured from 3/16-inch material, while the end plates are 1/4 inch thick. A 3/4-inch by 4-inch bevelled cutting edge supports loading and bucket-edge durability. The cutting edge is also drilled to accept an optional standard bolt-on cutting edge.

Reinforcement across the top lip, round back and end plates helps strengthen key areas of the bucket. Tapered end plates promote self-cleaning, reducing the tendency for material to remain lodged along the bucket sides. The flat top can also be used as a visual level indicator, helping the operator judge bucket position from the skid-steer cab.
