Controlled Side Discharge

The SS60 uses a chevron-style belt to move material laterally from the bucket. The belt can discharge from either side of the machine, giving the operator greater flexibility when positioning material. This bidirectional arrangement is useful where access, machine position, or the required discharge location may vary from one pass to the next.

A hydraulic direct-coupled drive powers the discharge system. On this 60-inch model, the discharge belt is driven by a single hydraulic motor. The straightforward drive configuration works with the carrier’s hydraulic system and requires a minimum flow of 12 GPM.

Designed for Consistent Material Flow

Material bridging can interfere with flow inside a side-discharge bucket. To help address this, HLA Attachments equips the SS60 with a beater that helps prevent material from bridging before it reaches the moving belt. The chevron belt then carries material toward the selected side of the machine for discharge.

The bucket provides a 1.5 cu yd heaped capacity in a body measuring 44 inches high by 57 inches long. Its 60-inch inside width corresponds to a calculated outside width of 62.5 inches, helping operators assess machine and work-area suitability before purchase.
