HLA Attachments HDO55BO500 5,500 lb Power-Tilting Pallet-Fork Carriage is a heavy-duty material-handling attachment designed to help keep loads level when working on uneven job sites. Its hydraulic-cylinder-powered rotation allows the carriage to level up to 45 degrees in either direction, providing smooth adjustment when the loader or working surface is not level. This configuration combines the HLA HDO55 carriage with the BO500 universal skid-steer-style quick-attach mount. It is supplied as a carriage only without fork tines, allowing compatible adjustable tines to be selected separately for the intended application.

Power-Tilting Material Handling

Uneven ground can make pallet and material handling more challenging. The HDO55 power-tilting carriage is designed to compensate for changing surface angles by rotating the fork carriage hydraulically. With a leveling range of 45 degrees each way, the operator can adjust the carriage position to help keep the load appropriately oriented during handling.

Rotation is powered by a hydraulic cylinder for smooth operation. This makes the carriage suitable for material-handling work where a fixed fork carriage may not provide the adjustment needed to deal with sloped, rough, or irregular job sites.

Carriage-Only Configuration

The HDO55BO500 is supplied without fork tines. This carriage-only format is intended for use with separately selected adjustable tines. Compatible tine lengths for the HLA 5,500 lb power-tilting series are 42, 48, or 54 inches, allowing the attachment to be configured for different material sizes and handling needs.

Because tines are not included, they must be selected separately. This helps ensure the finished attachment is equipped with an appropriate tine length for the intended work rather than limiting the carriage to one preconfigured tine size.
