The GREENWORKS Commercial OptimusZ Series 9 OZ948 48-inch Ride-On Zero-Turn Mower is a high-capacity commercial battery mower designed for demanding turf-maintenance operations. Its integrated 24 kWh battery, 65 HP equivalent power, and PowrTraq 5.0 kW drive motors deliver powerful, quiet operation without the need for fuel. The side-discharge OZ948 combines a 48-inch fabricated cutting deck with a constant 19,000 FPM blade-tip speed, helping provide consistent cutting performance across large commercial properties, grounds-care operations, and professional mowing routes. With up to 8 hours of runtime, up to 20 acres of catalogue coverage, Smart G Connect, and front and rear ETO ports for compatible OptimusZ attachments, it is built as a productive commercial mowing platform.

Commercial Battery Performance

The integrated 24 kWh OptimusZ battery platform provides the energy capacity required for extended commercial mowing applications. The OZ948 offers up to 8 hours of runtime and has an 8-hour charge time. Its electric drive system uses PowrTraq 5.0 kW motors and reaches a maximum drive speed of 26 km/h, supporting efficient movement between mowing areas.

The mower produces 65 HP equivalent power and uses an OptimusCut 2.0 kW deck motor. A constant blade-tip speed of 19,000 FPM is designed to support consistent cutting quality, while the 48-inch side-discharge configuration provides a practical working width of 122 cm.

Fabricated 48-Inch Cutting Deck

The 7-gauge fabricated deck is equipped with three blades and offers 17 cutting-height positions. Cutting height can be adjusted across a range of 25–127 mm using the foot-operated manual deck lift, allowing operators to select a suitable finish for different turf conditions and mowing requirements.
