Commercial Battery-Powered Mowing Performance

The OZ972R combines a large integrated battery with Greenworks Commercial’s PowrTraq drive system. Its 6 kW drive motors deliver responsive zero-turn operation, while the electric platform provides a stated gas-equivalent output of up to 70 HP. The mower can handle stated slopes of up to 20 degrees, making it suitable for a range of commercial mowing environments where maneuverability and sustained performance are important.

72-Inch Rear-Discharge Cutting System

A 72-inch, 7-gauge steel deck provides a wide cutting path for efficient coverage across large areas. The rear-discharge configuration directs cut material behind the mower, supporting a clear side profile when working near obstacles, pathways, and landscaped edges. Greenworks Commercial’s OptimusCut 30 cutting system maintains a constant blade-tip speed of 19,000 feet per minute for consistent cutting performance across the deck.

Operator Comfort and Connected Features

The mower is equipped with a premium high-back adjustable suspension seat with a headrest. The seat includes 4 inches of suspension adjustment to help improve operator comfort during extended mowing sessions.
