Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ CZ60R18X 60-inch Ride-On Zero-Turn Mower is a commercial battery-electric mower designed for demanding mowing operations, combining a wide 60-inch cutting deck with an integrated 18 kWh Optimus Lithium Battery System. Its LFP battery cells, maintenance-free electric drive system, PowrTraq Smart Drive System, and traction control support productive mowing across varied terrain and slopes. With up to 16 acres of mowing capacity per charge, speeds of up to 16 mph, 4G/GPS connectivity, and remote diagnostics, the OptimusZ CZ60R18X is suited to commercial users who need efficient cutting, fleet-management visibility, and reduced drive-system maintenance.

Commercial Battery-Electric Mowing Performance

The OptimusZ CZ60R18X uses an integrated 18 kWh LFP battery system to deliver up to six hours of operating time on a single charge and a manufacturer-listed mowing capacity of up to 16 acres per charge. Its 60-inch cutting width is paired with a constant smart cutting system producing a blade-tip speed of 19,000 FPM, helping maintain cutting performance during commercial mowing work.

A maximum ground speed of 16 mph supports efficient travel between mowing areas, while traction control is designed to assist operation across varied terrain and slopes. The mower has a stated maximum slope capability of up to 15 degrees. The maintenance-free electric drive system eliminates belts, pulleys, and spindles, helping simplify the drive system compared with equipment using those components.

Connected Fleet and Operator Features

Built for commercial use, the OptimusZ includes 4G/GPS connectivity for fleet management and remote diagnostics. This can help commercial operators monitor and manage connected equipment as part of a wider fleet. The mower also features 360-degree LED lighting to support visibility around the machine during operation in changing light conditions.

Charging Options

Using the standard charging specification of 240 V, 15 A and 3.3 kW, the battery can be fully charged in approximately six hours. An optional high-current charging specification of 240 V, 33 A and 8 kW reduces the stated charging time to approximately two hours. A full charge can also be achieved in 2.5 hours with the Greenworks Commercial Super Charger, which is sold separately.
