Meet the Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ CZ52R24X 52-inch Ride-On Zero-Turn Mower, a commercial battery-electric mower designed for high-capacity cutting without gasoline operation. Its integrated 24 kWh MEGA 24K 82V battery system provides manufacturer-claimed all-day performance of up to 21 acres and 8 hours on a single charge, while three independent blade motors deliver a constant 19,000 FPM blade-tip speed. With zero-turn maneuverability, a reinforced 7-gauge fabricated steel deck, intuitive controls, fleet connectivity, and a maximum mowing speed of 12 mph, the OptimusZ CZ52R24X is suited to demanding commercial mowing operations, grounds maintenance, and large-property turf care.

Commercial Battery-Electric Performance

The OptimusZ CZ52R24X combines a 52-inch marketed cutting width with an integrated 24 kWh battery and an 82V electrical system. Greenworks Commercial rates the mower at a claimed 65 HP gas-equivalent power, providing the capability required for productive commercial cutting while eliminating the need for a gasoline engine. The battery-electric platform is engineered for quiet, clean operation and includes a standard 3.3 kW charger for convenient overnight charging.

For operations requiring a faster turnaround, the optional C80SC 7.7 kW super charger can charge the 24 kWh battery in approximately 3 hours. The standard CV30KWC charger operates at 240V and 13A, with an approximate 8-hour charging time.

Precision Cutting and Zero-Turn Control

Three independent blade motors maintain a constant 19,000 FPM blade-tip speed for consistent cutting performance. The 7-gauge fabricated steel cutting deck includes reinforced motor areas for commercial-duty use, while the adjustable cutting height range from 1 to 5 inches accommodates a variety of turf-maintenance requirements.

Greenworks Commercial’s PowrTraq Smart Drive System uses independent in-wheel hub motors and two-stage planetary gearing. This drive configuration supports zero-turn maneuverability and is rated by the manufacturer for slopes up to 20 degrees. Four adjustable speed settings allow operators to tailor machine response and travel performance to the mowing environment.

Connected Commercial Operation

Integrated 4G/GPS connectivity supports fleet reporting, remote diagnostics, and theft protection. An LCD control interface provides machine information at the operator station, while LED lighting supports visibility. ROPS and a seat belt are included as part of the operator protection equipment. The mower also supports Greenworks Commercial 82V ETO attachments, including the ETOBL51 power blower and compatible bagging and charging accessories.
