Description

The Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ CZ52R18X Ride-On Zero-Turn Mower combines a fully integrated 18 kWh LFP battery with commercial-grade cutting performance, zero emissions and reduced operating noise. Built for demanding grounds-care work, this electric zero-turn mower delivers up to 16 acres or 6 hours of mowing per charge, a maximum drive speed of 16 mph and a constant blade-tip speed of 19,000 FPM. Its heavy-duty 52-inch fabricated steel deck is suited to commercial mowing applications, while smart 4G/GPS connectivity, anti-theft protection and remote diagnostics support fleet management and daily operational control.

Commercial electric mowing performance

The OptimusZ CZ52R18X is designed around the Greenworks Commercial 82V platform and uses an integrated 18 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The battery system provides the capacity needed for extended mowing sessions, with a stated coverage of up to 16 acres or 6 hours per charge. With a maximum speed of 16 mph, the mower can move efficiently between work areas, while its 19,000 FPM constant blade-tip speed supports consistent cutting performance.

Power is advertised as equivalent to a 51 HP, 816 cc gas engine, without tailpipe emissions during operation. Maintenance-free drive motors and reduced maintenance requirements help simplify ownership compared with conventional engine-powered equipment. The mower is designed for operation on slopes up to 15 degrees and includes 360-degree high-intensity LED lighting for enhanced visibility around the machine.

Charging options

The integrated battery can be charged using compatible Greenworks Commercial charging equipment. With the optional C80SC 8 kW Super Charger, the 18 kWh battery has an approximately 2-hour charge time. The C80SC uses an AC 240 V, 31 A input and provides a DC 80 A output. The CV30KWC portable charger provides a 6-hour charge time for the 18 kWh battery, using an AC 240 V, 13 A input and a DC 35 A output. The C80SC Super Charger and CV30KWC portable charger are options and are sold separately.

Compatibility
