The Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ CZ36S8X 36-inch Stand-On Zero-Turn Mower combines an integrated 8 kWh battery system with commercial-grade performance for efficient property maintenance. Designed for compact commercial mowing applications, this zero-emission stand-on mower delivers up to 7 acres of mowing and up to 5 hours of runtime, with a maximum ground speed of 10 mph. Its 36-inch cutting width, zero-turn configuration, reduced noise and vibration, and compact stand-on design make it well suited to professional operators working across landscaped properties, grounds, and other areas where maneuverability and productivity are important.

Commercial Battery-Powered Mowing

The OptimusZ CZ36S8X operates on the Greenworks Commercial 82V platform and features an integrated 8 kWh battery. The battery-powered design produces zero emissions during operation while reducing noise and vibration compared with conventional gas-powered equipment. Greenworks Commercial lists the mower as offering power equivalent to a 22 HP / 352 cc gas engine, providing the performance expected for demanding mowing work without using a gas engine.

Two 5 kW ultra-low-profile hub-drive brushless motors power the machine. The PowrTraq Drive System supports a maximum ground speed of 10 mph, while the mower maintains a 19,000 FPM blade-tip speed for consistent cutting performance. The manufacturer states that the mower can operate on slopes up to 15 degrees.
