Fill Capacity and Material Guide

The ballast box has a fill-only capacity of up to 550 lb and a total capacity of up to 575 lb including the box. Actual ballast weight depends on the selected fill material and the amount used. The supplied fill-guide weights are concrete at 150 lb/ft³, gravel at 110 lb/ft³ and sand at 100 lb/ft³. Do not exceed the ballast box capacity or the tractor manufacturer’s three-point hitch lift capacity.

Practical Worksite Features

The sliding door provides access to the interior for filling and accessing the ballast compartment. Two sleeves offer convenient storage for common tools, helping keep frequently used equipment close at hand during tractor tasks. A 2 in square receiver with a 5/8 in hole adds another useful connection point for compatible equipment or accessories.
