Description

The Wallenstein BX36S 3PH, 3.5in Chipper is a gravity-feed disc wood chipper designed for 12–30 hp tractors equipped with a Category I three-point hitch. Its PTO direct-drive system, 3.5 in (9 cm) chipping capacity, oversized 25 in (64 cm) rotor, and four reversible rotor knives provide a practical solution for processing branches and woody material in property maintenance, landscaping, farm, and rural applications. The adjustable discharge chute rotates through 360°, while the positional discharge deflector helps direct chips where they are needed.

The BX36S combines a wide infeed area with a gravity-feed design to support straightforward material loading. Its heavy-duty rotor and four reversible knives are built around a compact three-point hitch configuration, making the chipper suitable for compatible tractors in the 12–30 hp range. An adjustable ski base helps accommodate operating conditions, while the twig breaker and wide infeed opening support consistent feeding of suitable material.

Power is transferred through a direct-drive PTO system with shear-bolt protection. The PTO is rated for 540–1000 rpm, and the chipper’s PTO height is adjustable from 13–19 in (34–42 cm). With a total weight of 395 lb (179 kg), the BX36S is sized for tractor-mounted transport and operation while retaining a 3.5 in (9 cm) chipping capacity.
