Wallenstein WP875 Firewood Processor is a towable, self-contained firewood processor built to winch, cut, split, and pile firewood efficiently. Its 25-ton splitting force and 22-inch maximum log capacity provide the power to process substantial logs, while the hydraulic winch helps bring material into position without unnecessary manual handling. Powered by a Vanguard® 14 hp (408 cc) gasoline engine, the WP875 delivers throughput of up to 2 cords per hour and is suited to firewood production where mobility, integrated processing, and reduced physical effort are important.
The WP875 combines log handling, cutting, splitting, and discharge in one towable machine. The hydraulic winch has a 1,550 lb pulling capacity and includes 50 ft of 1/4-inch rope, helping operators move logs into the processing area. Once positioned, logs can be processed through the 36-inch split opening with 25 tons of splitting force. The full-stroke splitting cycle takes 12.1 seconds, and the splitter valve provides auto-cycle, hands-free operation for a consistent workflow.
An adjustable 4-way wedge supports efficient splitting, while the length indicator helps maintain consistent firewood dimensions. Finished firewood is directed through the adjustable offload chute, which discharges at a height of 54 inches. The chute, floating stabilizer, sweep tongue, and Torflex suspension axle contribute to a practical setup for processing and relocation.
The Wallenstein WP875 is highway towable and uses a 2-inch ball hitch. Its folded dimensions are 125 x 73 x 79 inches, making the machine more compact for transport and storage than its open working configuration. When opened, it measures 246 x 69 x 66 inches. The 5.30 x 12.00 tires, 285 lb tongue weight, and 2,275 lb total weight should be considered when planning towing and site access.
